Courtney Halverson - "Faron"

Courtney Halverson has developed a reputation as one of the industry's most versatile young actors.  She recently starred as Theda in A Distant Shore and received a nomination for a 2006 Young Artist Award.  The film, directed by Emmy winner Franklin Rho, was also nominated for a student Academy Award®.  She recently completed work on the film, Keith, starring teen idol Jesse McCartney and Elizabeth Harnois.  And soon cell phone users will be able to catch Courtney in a recurring role on the new made-for-mobile drama, Shady Characters.  Courtney loved working on Freaky Faron and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and the people of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

Carly Hayes - "Kaitlin"

Carly loves to sing, act and perform, and has been showing off her talents for anyone that would watch since she was very small.  She is a very clever and compassionate child who loves animals.  As one of Radio Disney’s “Tulskateers”, Carly has opportunities to sing at many local venues. She is also a member of a performing Troupe where she studies voice, musical theatre and dance. Freaky Faron is her first experience with acting on film, and she loved every minute of it!  She has performed on stage in local productions of Annie, The Wizard of Oz, and Ragtime; as well as many performances at her church.  Carly is also taping Hangin’ Out Back with Dingo & Friends, a local TV show that will air soon, where she sings and acts.


Catharine Scott - "Mrs. Hallowell"

A transplant from Oklahoma, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Radio/Television/Film, News Broadcasting with a minor in Criminal Law.  Worked as a legal assistant, stockbroker and financial planner before getting back into acting.  In just a short time, she has appeared in several independent films, commercials and television programs, including two soaps.  Had a delightful time being a part of this wonderfully talented production.


Sewell Whitney - "The Fedora"

Sewell Whitney, "The Fedora," tips his hat to director John Ross, truly an actor's director.  You may see (or you may not) Sewell in episodes of Law and Order: SVU, which he credits as the best, most fun show on TV to work on. You may also see him in inumerable low budget films, some even available at Blockbuster. One of his on-stage highlights was performing on Broadway in Inherit the Wind, with George C. Scott, Charles Durning, Tony Randall and Anthony Heald.




Jonny Lewis - "Dr. Timmons"

Jonny Lewis won an award for Best Actor in a Short Film for the first film he ever did, in 2002.  Since then he has done over 20 independent films, in lead and supporting roles.  His hobby is languages, and he speaks several, including Russian, with a perfect accent.  He recently did several voices for the dubbing of a Hebrew film into both English and French.  When not acting, Jonny enjoys reading, swimming, and pursuits of a spiritual nature.

 

Robyn Black - "Judge Dobbs"

Robyn Black has been acting since high school where she began a long career in the acting profession. After performing numerous roles in local theatre, she moved on to performing on stages at Tampa University in Tampa, Florida where she majored in theatre arts.  Ms. Black is veteran of the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City where she dazzled audiences with her many stage roles. She took a hiatus from the acting profession to teach in Japan for two years and traveled internationally on business assignments.  Luckily for TV audiences, she is again pursuing her acting career and can be seen in many commercials.

 

Kailey Fullerton - "Kelsey"

Kailey Fullerton is an Oklahoma-native, but now resides in Malibu, California, where she studies theatre and television production at Pepperdine University. Her resume is packed with musical theatre and straight drama experience, but over the past few years she has been adding film and commercial credits to her resume. And though most of her experience has been in front of the camera, Kailey also has a strong passion for working behind the camera, where she writes, directs, and produces her own works. When Kailey is not entertaining, she enjoys taking long cruises on her motorcycle, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying every minute of the life God gave her.

 

Jerib Kaiser - "Eric"

Jerib Kaiser is an animated, fun loving teen-ager.  He's been performing in front of audiences since he was 7 yrs old.  He’s an actor, singer, dancer (Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop), and a musician (Trombone, Violin, Piano).  One of his on-stage highlights was playing Dill in To Kill A Mockingbird.  The theatre had 430 seats and it was sold-out every night.  Jerib also enjoys working behind the stage as a lighting tech or stagehand.  He has helped in building and painting several sets for Community Theatre productions.  When he’s not performing, Jerib enjoys Basketball, Indoor Rock Climbing, and Ultimate Frisbee.

 

Bob Ball - “Richard Durst”

Bob’s acting experience includes stage and film.  On stage, Bob most recently played the role Captain Brackett in Light Opera Oklahoma’s production of South Pacific,  Rabbi in Light Opera Oklahoma’s production of Fiddler on the Roof and Polonius in American Theatre Company’s production of Hamlet.  Bob’s film/video credits include the evil Mr. Slater in TeenMania’s Acquire the Fire video production, which recently was presented in major weekend teen evangelism conferences coast to coast; and the principal role in the national-award-winning video The Least of These, which promotes the Hospitality House of Tulsa, a non-profit refuge for families of extended-stay hospital patients.  Freaky Faron is Bob’s fourth feature film.
